St. Francis had an amazing Parish Week. It started with a beautiful exhibit in the Narthex of “St. Francis of The Bronx – The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal: An Inspiring Pictorial and Text Exhibit”  which was on display from September 30th through October 8th. The 2023 Parish Video was shown before all weekend Masses. On Tuesday the 3rd, we celebrated the Transitus for the first time and the Feast of St. Francis on the 4th. On Friday, October 6th, the parish observed an All Day Adoration. Our traditional Blessing of the Animals and a Pet Food Drive for Gracie’s Pets was on Saturday the 7th.. The week culminated with a 9:30 am Mass celebrated by Bishop Pohlmeier and our Annual Parish Picnic. Our picnic included numerous family-orientated games including corn hole and ring toss. There was a cakewalk, a bounce house, a bubble machine, a magician, a karaoke contest, face painting, music, and dancing, and a large buffet.

The Parish Picnic was an Amazing Success because of all the people who stepped up and volunteered to help! THANK YOU! Grateful thanks to ALL the folks who donated time to make the activities work!
